Jeff - Thanks for stopping by. I have to say that I'm probably in the minority here, but I think it will be many years before I feel the need to come to terms with my age. I've always enjoyed getting older, strange as it sounds. Mostly this post is about a wistful mother realizing that her little boys are almost grown!

Wow! Nick has been shaving for a year, an electric shaver (and just around the lower lip area). And hugging him I get the same stiff reaction---it's just the age more than the autism, at least I think! Happy Spring!! ;)

I think Nigel is right to take it all in stride. No cuts, just a little chapping? That's better than me. Congrats to him!

Hello Tanya,

Aspie observation for the day:

Is Nigel's shaving making you come to terms with your age?

Cheers,

I'm there too, mine's not too happy about the sensation, although he did get to pick his "expensive" electric shaver!
