Yikes, what a story! Also kind of an analogy of life! There are so many aspects of this I was thinking about as I read it. Your ability to relax (okay, pass out!) when the inevitable was obvious, the recovery, and how your kids were put in a position to share your workload and your pain, learn new things and see that tough times generally and eventually get better. For awhile. But then we have new strengths for the next time! Happy happy birthday, new friend!

Happy Birthday! 39. Ahhh to be 39. I’m only 42, but somehow those 3 years seem like a big difference!

It’s funny you mention snowboarding because we just made plans to go skiing. We have NEVER been skiing. I thought of you when we made the plans and here you are writing about it. Do your boys go? I was thinking about teaching a child with autism to ski and experiences etc. advice?

That was my most memorable superbowl day ever, Seahawks 10 Steelers 21 Watched the whole thing on the tiny TV in Urgent care.

P.S. saw an advertisment for a T.V. movie on HBO about a girl named “Temple Grandin” thought you might be interested.
