Feelin’ Kreativ

A cute little blog award has been making the rounds, and I am quite touched to have received it! Thank you, Corrie, of The Moon’s Broke for this sweet award! It comes with the following rules:

  • You must thank the person who has given you the award.
  • Copy the logo and place it on your blog.
  • Link to the person who has nominated you for the award.
  • Name 7 things about yourself that people might find interesting.
  • Nominate 7 other Kreativ Bloggers.
  • Post links to the 7 blogs you nominate.
  • Leave a comment on which of the blogs to let them know they have been nominated.

Seven things about me (“interesting” or not – you decide):

  • I was born and raised in Los Angeles County.
  • I decided at the age of four that I wanted to be a writer.
  • I was a writer for Halloween when I was eight years old.
  • I received my BA in English.
  • I graduated from college, got married, and gave birth to my first child all in the same year.
  • I have always loved tigers.
  • I am planning to go to Thailand next year with my father and my sons.

My nominations for 7 other “Kreativ Bloggers”:

Best wishes to all!

I am wearing one of those strapless, flowing gowns in a champagne white, with million dollar perals, gracing my neck. I had multiple designers knocking down my door but, I settled with Valentino. I had my boob job completed last night to hold up my strapless gown, in preparation of walking down the red carpet and accepting this award today.

A hush falls over the crowd as I make my way to the front of the room….

…Hmm Hmm I just can’t believe this is happening to me, I don’t know what to say. I would like to start by thanking everyone I have ever met in my entire life! But mostly my little sister, who has been listening to my stories from the begining, if it wasn’t for you talking all night long sis I would have never started telling stories to shut you up.

My 11th grade english teacher, for giving me an assigment that made me realize writing my stories down can be fun. (sorry about the hours and hours I spent talking to that boy behind me. I ended up marrying him. It was like a moth to a flame I couldn’t ignore him.)

And to the people who read my blog. Who would have ever guessed 6 months ago when I started writing that it would give me the chance to meet an amazing group of people. Tanya I count you as one of those friendships I am better for having, I have leared so much from you. After our latest shopping blunder I called my sister her response…”Don’t you remember what Tanya told you to do” Hugs and Thanks this was fun.

Congrats on your award! How awesome that you’re planning to return to Thailand with your father and the boys! Make sure they get to go bathe the elephants!

Thank you so much!! I finally wrote a blog and will follow through with this. Just not this moment. I so appreciate your recognition and the “creative problem solving” that is so sweet. I have done quite a bit of that this week and am feeling run down and overwhelmed. An award was a great boost. Thanks!!!

Oh thank you! Of course you would to this when I’m away from internetland for a week, so my blog is stagnant! I will pay this forward soon.
