		<description>Many states also have a program where you can register your phone number, address, and vehicles with the police and fire departments.  That way if they get call to your house to an emergency or the police stop your vehicle for something or you get in an accident the first responders will know there may be someone involved in the situation who has special needs.  
In Arizona, the program is called SmartCard.  When you register with them, you get a sticker for your front window and all your vehicles, as well as a form similar to the Autism Emergency Information Form to go on the refrigerator and in the glove box.  Your phone number is also tagged for the 911 operators so they can let the first responders know before they even get to your house.  The stickers and forms all have the SmartCard logo, which can easily be recognized by responders.
