I am COMPLETELY flabbergasted at the comment that it must be “easy” to raise a child with ASD because they’re quiet. Did you kick this person in the butt? The shin, at least?

wow. i have still not overcome my bitterness. i try, and i know i would be more capable if i could set it aside, but everytime something happens, there i am again, with a mouth full of bitter that just won’t go away.

Kaeden also hates his autism. He’s forever telling me he wishes it would go away, that he hates autism, that he just wants to be normal. That’s a hard thing for a mom…knowing you can’t relaly do anyting about it but love your kid and help them work through the issues. I don’t really like autism, either.
