what huge steps, what wondrous accomplishment

my girls have a painting that i love .. beneath it is the age old adage 'to you i wish to give two things. to give you roots. to give you wings.'

you are doing both.

Well you did it! You turned that corner... You must have wanted to laugh or sport a great big " I am so proud" smile.

Hey, you're right, all parents worry - mine still do even though I have lived alone, work full time and am at the age where some people are married and having their own babies.

Its natural instinct.

I really admire you for being able to let Nigel do this, and for recognising why it is important to him.

My eldest daughter took them all to the park to give me a break..........I spent the whole hour dashing out to the front gate to check......well maybe once or twice .......or maybe three times tops.......baby steps for everyone.......or at least us parents........more gianty leaps for other more youthful persons.
Cheers

My heart was beating out of my chest reading this, and he's not even my child. I think I have me some separation anxiety issues to work out. Yay to you and Nigel for taking this step.
