Thanks, everyone.

Mara, my boyfriend is on it. He found a wrist-type of tracking device online. I'll post the link as soon as he forwards it to me.

Hellokittiemama, thanks for the tip on Project Lifesaver. I will definitely look into it.

Jess, thanks for the link to your post. As always, beautifully written, and very familiar.

i wrote this a few months ago after a friend's similar experience. i think you'll find it familiar ..

Wow, i'm speechless reading this because this is the type of stuff we deal with/have dealt with for Alex (who is only 7). He gets out, he explores, he wanders. He escapes - he runs and he doesn't look where he is going.. he gets lost. We have him on a program here called "project lifesaver". It is a band that he wears on his wrist and if he wanders I call 911 and they can track him. Maybe you can see if they have Project Lifesaver by you?

I hate when that happens. Taz is a public wanderer too, and every time he seems to think that I somehow always know where he was -- since he always knows where he is -- and he is shocked that I had to search for him. Theory-of-mind deficit strikes again!

Let me know if you find a cheap implant. Maybe we can get a bulk discount?
