Yep I am interested in the dating aspect as well. Although I decided not to until after menopause comes and goes.

Nick has many Calvin and Hobbes books, became interested in fifth grade since there was one in the classroom.

Looks like Nigel and Nick do have somethings in common.

"Boggart Therapy" is a great idea; Nigel loves Harry Potter.

Re: Dating (me, not Nigel) - yeah, I'll write a post about that. Frankly, I think the boyfriend is rather brave too!

Hey! The dating post was about Nigel. Come on, now, I need to know: how does the mother of a child with autism find the energy and bravery to date?

My son refuses to draw, so we do "Boggart Therapy", an idea we adapted from the Harry Potter books. If you aren't a Pottermaniac, let me explain that boggarts are magical creatures that can read your mind and then take the form of the thing you most fear. To deal with boggarts, you point your wand and yell "Ridiculoso", which immediately transforms the boggart into something silly. My son loves to imagine his bully wearing a fluffy pink tutu and large conical bra.

BTW: you have you a boyfriend? I am going to have to investigate your dating posts and see how on earth you manage that.
