Has Nigel read the warriors books? The new ones are due out on Tuesday, and one is a manga. here is the site for more info on the series

http://www.warriorcats.com

Last year one of the autism orgs, think it was Nancy Cale sent out a note about a boy with AS who was training cats, we sent him some money and did one email, than nothing back. A boy named Matthew wrote a book on art with his therapist and we had one snail mail back and forth and then nothing.

Hi Bonnie,
Nigel loves animals too, (and is also homeschooled), and I'm sure he'd like to chat with Nick. I'm going to set up an email address for Nigel soon, but until then, if Nick's interested, he can email tanya@teenautism.com and put "To Nigel" in the subject line. Let me know if that works for you (and Nick), and thanks for your comment.

Sounds like a great camping trip. Wonderful conversation with your sons. I know what you mean about late in giving the meds and it messes up the whole evening plans.

My son Nick likes to tell me who he thinks is mid high or low functioning. This is for the kids at camp, now he is homeschooled and wants to chat with other kids who like animals.

His new warrior books come out next week so he is excited and soon we will go to the Zoo when matt starts school.

I was just telling Nick recently about camping in NJ as a kid, here in Los Angeles I could not see it as we have raccoons and skunks in the yard and coyotes come down the hill. In NJ it was just rabbits.
