Recognizing everyone doesn't do everything the same way. Knowing two parents love them. Having to adjust when change is especially difficult for them. It seems like it will make them more well rounded and flexible, more aware of their ability to get through difficult transitions. There are many blessings in your situation for sure, (not to minimize the hardships). I think having the experience of two households, “two lives,” will be invaluable to your children.
